Each project begins with a strategic meeting. For original music composition, we conduct a Spotting Session with the director and the production’s creative team, where the narrative of the audiovisual work is analyzed to identify its musical needs, define the sonic language and style, and conceptualize the most appropriate instrumental ensemble for the production.
For the performance and recording of an original score, we meet with the composer to understand their artistic vision, creative goals, and production requirements. Based on this, we define the instrumentation, ensemble size, recording schedule, and all technical, logistical, and administrative aspects required to ensure an efficient workflow and a world-class recording experience. When needed, we also coordinate orchestration, music preparation, professional score and parts copying, and printing for the recording sessions.
This collaborative process allows us to fully understand the artistic vision, narrative objectives, and production needs of each project, enabling us to develop a fully customized recording plan tailored to every production.
