Andrés Cárdenas

Andrés Cárdenas is a Colombian film composer, winner of the 2024 Macondo Award for Best Original Score for Blue Roots (Raíces Azules) and nominated in 2023 for Hermit (Ermitaño). Since 2006, he has created music for films, documentaries, animations, and audiovisual productions in general, developing a musical language characterized by a distinctive stylistic richness and emotional depth. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Film Dreams and Head of the Recording Department.
