David Guarin

Colombian composer, arranger, music editor, and music copyist with extensive experience in composing and preparing music for a wide range of instrumental ensembles, from solo works and chamber ensembles to symphonic bands and full symphony orchestras.

Throughout his career, he has received awards in several composition competitions and has been commissioned to write new works in Colombia and internationally, including Argentina, the United States, Afghanistan, and Latvia.

As a music editor and copyist, he has extensive expertise in professional notation software, including Finale, Sibelius, and Dorico, and has participated in the preparation of orchestral scores and performance parts for leading publishing companies, orchestras, ensembles, composers, and audiovisual productions.
